Hi Dave, I was thinking about it, but I don't think I have time for 45 miles out of Rocklin. I'm studying this weekend and I'm going to the BBQ. I'm going to put in some miles on the trail tomorrow though. The Rocklin ride is really fun - you should do it! Are you going to the BBQ?

Okay, so saturday the climbing is on! I'm excited to learn more!! Its so fun. I'm not sure what to expect aug either but I guess I ll find out :) I'm going to try & make it out wed to get to know the grp better. I will probably just boulder bc I can do that with out having to belay partner. If you want to try that as well let me know!

I'm fairly new as well. Amy showed me how to belay awhile ago at Granite Arch and have climbed there a cpl times since then, however haven't been to Pipeworks yet. I believe you might have to take their intro class to belay with a partner.
If you are interested in doing so let me know and I will join you. I am looking for a weekend partner was well.

Hi Dave...Welcome. I live along the bike trail (near 15-16 mile mark...I would be up for some morning rides...let me know what times work for you and what point on the trail you would prefer to start.
