I decide where to ride by closing my eyes and pointing at a map. I like challenging rides, smooth rolling singletrack (not too tech.), road rides with little traffic (hit by a car once), and friends to ride with to keep the mountain lions away.

I want to build my endurance so I can do something ambitious, like the Kokopelli Trail.
Intermediate, I think. The only reason those guys always pass me on the bike trail is because I'm on a mtn. bike and they have road bikes. lol.

Hi Don. Would love to have you come out for a ride sometime. We tend to be more road oriented but occasionally someone puts together a great mtn bike ride here on the Georgetown Divide - John
Don, you are actually going on a road ride? Don could it be you are going to turn into a roadie?
Thank's for leading us at Cronan last week. I like playing with my cramra, so pixs are no problem.
Hey DON! Are you healthy and riding these days? I hope so! Good to see you on the meetup pages. :)
Hi Don: It was great meeting you on my first posted hike! Hope to see you on the trail again. Thanks for the compliments! :)

Hello Don, Lets do trail 8A again!!!
Hello Don, Welcome to Sacramento Hiking and Adventure Group! I am planning on posting more mtn bike trail events, if you have any suggestions, please feel free to post them in "Next Event" thread.
Welcome to the group Don! Sounds good you will be a great addition and we will be doing TRT as well as many peaks in the near future. I personally do not have snow shoes yet but will be purchasing once I have a better idea of what I want. That is part of the reason I have posted the REI seminars and events to get to demo some shoes and get some expert advice on the subject. Side note: I will also be buying a replacment bike (within a few months) to start hitting the trails via Mt Bike as well.
DON, you are THE MAN. Thanks for giving the SAC DIRT group an extra breath of life. Looking forward to riding with you when you are healed and ready to roll.
