Introduction

Referred by JoelS, that, and I want to join more group rides :X... I don't know my way around here in Roseville that much as I just moved here with my family about a month ago.

What rides would you like to see on the calendar?

More group rides that are around Roseville maybe? Driving while in my kit and with the bike in the trunk post/pre ride is still something I do not particularly enjoy, especially post-HARD ride

What goals are you setting for yourself, if any?

Endurance I suppose, to go further. Climbing always helps too. And maybe faster. Yes, definitely faster and longer. But hey, who else isn't looking to do this either? :) Registered for Sierra/Chico Wildflower/Tour de Cure Rosveille centuries.

What level biker are you?

I started Road Cycling July 09 in Merced... which is flat for as far as the eye can see. Coming to Roseville I have grown accustomed to the hills, and consider myself a decent climber. Joel has helped me a lot with climbing.

Do you have any success stories you can share with everyone?

Getting your bike fitted is paramount. In Jan of this year (2010), I rode up Haleakala in Oahu, HI. 10,023 ft, 35 miles. Sadly, the 2nd set of switchbacks killed me (I could see them all at once). Made it to Visitor's Center, 7500ft/25mi.
