I've always really enjoyed the peace bike riding gives me. I don't look at it as exercise as much as I do a stress relief and escape. I joined this group because I was interested in something more challenging than the AR bike trail.

When I was younger, I rode from Canada to San Francisco alone averaging 76 miles/day over a 2 wk period. I went to college in Davis so completed that double century in '81 and'82. However, have completed 4 centuries this year.
Nice group of people.

"Woohoo!"
"With this kind of response (9000 requests for 2500 spots) you'd think they'd offer it more often."
"This sounds like a great beginner ride and would like to help in the future but probably won't be able to until April."
"unfortunately, something came up :("
"Otis, some people rate centuries according to difficulty.... with me it's all about the food at the rest stops. (Napa Century in August has homemade cookies.)"
"maybe"
"Hey, Lourdes says you're going for double centuries this year. Which ones are you doing?
My husband and I are trying for them as well. We've signed up for Solvang and plan to do Davis and the Grand Tour."
"Two massive hills at the start make this a fun challenging century."
"The food on this ride is the best of all the organized centuries. Chico Velo knows how to do this right. I didn't think the dinner the night before was worth it, though."
"the link is going to a site in oregon, can you check the link?"
