I love riding my bike. I commute to work as much as I can (don't like to ride on Hazel in the rain.) and do a distance ride every weekend. I need to work on my speed on hills.

I look to this group for social rides so would like to see some late mornings with coffee involved.
2011 - Brevet series and a few more doubles. I guess I'm working towards the CTC Hall of Fame now.

Joan,
Yes, Matthew's last name is Wietrick". That was my bad in transposing his email name. Thanks for pointing it out to me.

Hi Joan, thanks for the message.... you guys took off and I tried to catch up, but you were too fast! My legs were spent, so I gave up. No worries.... I saw the two of you, but the distance just kept growing between us :) Great riding!
Hi Joan,
I'd love to do another Ramen ride. I do them with my kids so the weather has to be nice - probably Spring. The last one no one except my family showed up so it was not exactly a super hit!! If you and friends come along, maybe we can make it into a bigger event. It was fun ad the food was great!! If you can remind me sometime in say March, I will put one together.

Joan - another super awesome J I met today ... I would love to ride the grand tour, so thanks for mentioning that ... I think it was you that I talked to about it - and the palm springs girls weekend!
Thanks for your support on the Death Ride. I wish I had my camera handy when I saw you, but I was rushing to make it to the last checkpoint before the cutoff time. Come out for "The Lunch Run" if you can. I'll schedule it again soon.
Thank you for the greeting. Perry knows me so he may point me out in advance. I'm staying in Calabasas and sharing a room with my older brother so maybe you'll see me there.
I'm not sure. I don't think so, but you may want to send them an e-mail and ask. They're not in it for profit (unlike Planet Ultra for the Eastern Sierra), so you'll get a straight answer.
I figured saying I was an awesome rider would have been boasting.
