RAIN OR HIGH LIKELIHOOD OF RAIN CANCELS!
NOTE: I moved the time back 1/2 hour from usual as I heard there's some kind of basketball game going on today, that should get you back in time before the first inning
NOTE^2: Folsom bike is becomming a popular ride meeting spot, please make sure to allow enough time to find parking, you may have to park down the road in the residentail area!
Join me for a social paced ride to Bella Brue for a tasty snack and/or lunch. This ride is mostly on the American River Bike Trail, only "real roads" we will deal with is getting on the ARBT from Folsom Bike, and up Arden Way to Bella Bru. We will ride out on the south side of the trail and back on the north side. This ride is not intended to be a hammerfest, if you want to join in and hammer the route, that's fine ..but you will be waiting at the regroups longer than the social paced crowd ...I will be sweeping the route @ 12-14 MPH average with my wife Kallie.
Bring whatever water and nutririon you need for the ride as well as flat tire repair stuff.
HELMETS REQUIRED!!!
If you need a route sheet, please print one and bring it with you. Route sheet can be found here:(although RWGPS routinely overstates elevation gain 20-30%):

Karen tha's kewl ..just hook up to the end of teh group (me and Kallie) ..cause I won't remember to stop or look for you, I always forget once the ride starts when poeple were gonna meet mid ride :-|
As it's such a big group I will wait by the bridge across the street from Folsom Bike & latch on as you go by. I am on a blue Orbea.
Jav, Otis is sleeping in and will most likely be hanging with KarenP at the Folsom Walking Bridge.
Nathan -- the front of the group was only fast because YOU made it fast
It's not a problem, I just don't want people getting the wrong idea from Nathan's feedback i.e. I rode at the stated pace (as I always do on my rides), would hate for potential future riders to think the pace was not as stated.
@javier
You are always true to your word. Don't worry. I love the fact that we can go faster (as you state all the time) but we will have to wait at regroups longer, or just hang. That's what so great about the Social rides. It's always fun for everyone.
Thanks again Javier, you run a great show.
hey i didnt go fast until 1 person started going fast and then 10 other people follow and then i was left by myself
No worries Nathan, again I just wanted people to know that the pace was as stated at the "tail end" of the ride, I ended up with a 13.8 average
Javier/Kallie: Would it be ok if I met up w/ the ride on the bike trail (instead of at folsom bike?)
I can meet up on the trail the bike trail at the foot bridge that connects to old town Folsom at 11:35? Sound ok?
