F45 - Post Soccer Bike Trail Social

Jamba Juice (map)

Selected By: Jeff Sanford

Ride Summary:

Terrain: Flat with a few pancakes
Distance: approx ~45 Miles
Rider Level: Advanced Beginners riders and up.
Sweep: No

Meet at 2pm roll at 2:15 sharp!!

Looking for something with a few less hills but still has some good meat on the distance and on very short notice?? Sorry, can't be helped, tis the life of a dad with a daughter in soccer. : p

We'll meet at Jamba Juice and make our way over to the bike trail. Once on the trail we'll head all the way into Old Sac to grab a cup of coffee/snack. When everyone is ready we'll head back taking the same route.

I plan on keeping the pace between 14-16 (give or take) mph and we will stop once each way at Watt Ave for a very quick water refill/potty break. Forecast is for 78 at 2pm with a high of 82 on Saturday.

If you are looking for something a little shorter you can turn back at any time as the ride never leaves the bike trail. Partial route riders are welcome to join us.

You will want to bring some $$ for a snack as well as whatever snacks you may need along the way. There are plenty of places to stop for water if you should need it. Sun screen

As always your helmet is required!

I really hate this thing sometimes. That was NOT the date I entered....

That's what happens when you wait until the last possible second to post a ride. I'm calling 1 maybe 2 more.

If Mica would have posted it, it would have gotten 146 rsvp's so far.

Great, my ego is officially crushed. Now I'm going to have to go out and spent 25k on a new bike to compensate. Thanks a lot Jav.

Noooo way, I am not waiting for him! This is a no sweep ride! When he pulls over to take off his training wheels he is on his own! : p

Jeff your ride doubled in like 5 hours, are you sure you will have enough space for parking?

I'm gonna do a very indirect animal route as I live barely 3 miles away from the Jamba Juice, so if I'm late, I'll try to catch up.

Growing by leaps and bounds, at this rate you might beat mica's attendance record by ride start time.

Great ride, had fun pushing the envelope a little bit on the way home! We'll see if we can track down some other locals to stop in the future, Steamers is more of a morning stop. Great to meet Jeff & Tracy as well! Look for more of these Saturday afternoon rides as I'm a soccer dad until late October. I'm also open to suggestions for these rides.

Good riding everybody! Maybe Jeff will be inspired to let us sleep in on Saturdays more often? ;)

Thanks Jeff, that was fun. And the afternoon start was nice departure from the norm.
