Happy Birthday Hammerin' Wheels!

Please bring the entire family and join us at Miller Park for food, fun, and games. EVERYONE is welcome.

Miller Park is located on the corner of Sunset Ave. and Kenneth Ave. in Fair Oaks. It is less than 3 miles from the Fish Hatchery. For those interested in biking to this event you can get to Miller Park via the American River Bike Trail by taking the Bridge street bridge up to Fair Oaks. This would be the large steel truss bridge just up river from Sunrise Blvd. I took the liberty of plotting the route for you. Bike route to Miller Park It is 2.5 miles from the bike trail.

We have the park reserved from 5 til dusk. The grill is getting fired up at 5:30!

The park has full basketball court, horse shoe pits, and a children's play structure. I will also have Volleyball & badminton nets ready to go. If anyone has any yard games they can bring (Croquet, boccie ball, Frisbees, footballs, etc. ) please let me know.

There will be other group party games with prizes for the winners! We will also be raffling off several other prizes but you can't win unless you are there!!!

There are several picnic tables in the general area but they will be used mostly for food and they will fill up fast. If you have any outdoor chairs or blankets you will want to bring them.

Again, I will be providing the burgers and hot dogs (I'll bring some veggie burgers too!). Aside from that this will be a potluck style event. Please let me know what you will be bringing to the party either through my profile or via the Message Board so it can be added to the list.

Please check back periodically for more updates. I will send out a notification if anything major changes but minor updates will not warrant an email to the group.
