VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Last year was a blast so why not do it again this year!
Pack 198 Cub Scouts in Elk Grove will be hosting their annual bike rodeo at Safetyville. How cool is that! We have reserved this mini-town all to ourselves. The event will be from 10 am - 1 pm.
The Bike Rodeo is an annual cubscout event whose goal is to educate the scouts, their siblings and their parents about bike safety, maintenance, rules of the road and so many other important skills for the might-be future cyclist (or Hammerin' Wheeler). There will be approximately 30-50 cub scouts plus their families attending.
We need volunteers to run the booths - bike helmet fitting, bike checks, talking to kids about rules of the road, bike wash, etc. We have some parents volunteering too but who knows more about cycling than us Hammerin' Wheelers! There will also be games and road cycling involved (kids only at Safetyville).
I will post details of the booths as plans are finalized!
Hope to see you there!
This event is a lot of fun, nothing hard, just helping kids with bikes. Come out and have some fun!!
