Another climb in preparation for the Death Ride. It represents a challenge, but is still attainable for someone who isn't used to climbing. This will be a hard climb and there is no food or water along the route so bring whatever you need with you.
This is a route Levi Leipheimer rides regularly and it is not beyond the realm of possibility that we may see him on the route.
We can meet at the Power Inn Rd. Park & Ride, then carpool to the Bear Republic Brewing Company in Healdsburg. Please compensate drivers for fuel. $5.00 per hour of driving time is fair.

Distance: 38.6 miles (out and back, 19.3 miles each way)
Terrain: Urban & Country Roads
Elevation Gained: 3883 ft climbing (Max. 16% grade)
Skill Level: Strong Climbing Riders
Speed: 6-12 mph on hill (this one is just hill, nothing else) / 30+ on descents
Sweep: No, but we'll regroup at the turn-around.
Pace: As fast as possible, which is not likely to be very fast.
