Ride Summary:
Terrain: Flat with a few optional steep short hills
Distance: approx 14 Miles
Speed: 14 - 16 mph
Rider Level: Beginner and up.
Sweep: No
This ride will be a easy paced ride designed to add to your mile base (great way to burn off those pesky holiday pounds.) To be able to complete the ride before dark, we'll meet at 3:30 and leave at 3:45pm or before if all the Yes RSVPs are present. Please update your RSVP if you cannot make the event. This ride is completely on the bike trail. (Future rides may incorporate some hill climbing.) We should be back to the hatchery by no later than 5:00.
The idea of this ride is to get a mid-week, easy ride. The pace will be slow enough for pleasant conversation. There will be several points along the way for water if needed, but please bring your own to prevent breaks along the way. Map of ride on MapMyRide: Hatchery_Hagan
A light rain will not cancel but a heavy rain will. I will cancel by no later than 1pm if it becomes an issue.
Helmet is required.
