Route: http://ridewithgps.co...
As my wife is coming along (we got a sitter), we're riding at her pace. So it won't be a hammerfest.
I put together this route using some of my favorite hills. I think it will be a good route. There are some water stops, and I'm sure we can find a place for lunch.
2 water bottles, helmet, snacks, etc. You must be able to be self-sufficient. If you want to print out the cue sheet from the link above, please do so. Then you can feel free to take off and not ride with the group. If you fall too far behind, we aren't going to wait. Bring a cell phone in case you decide to call for SAG.
Leaving from the parking lot just outside Hagan Park at 8:30am. Be a bit early to get ready to go.
Rain cancels!
NOTE: I have modified the route a bit after riding it today.
LOL ..yep got it
Yea drizzle is OK, I definitly don't do rain and road bikes ....just not worth the risk!
Glad you can make it! The start and finish are in different places as the bike trail doesn't auto map and I'm too lazy to track it out. Still have a few weeks too. Hopefully the weather will cooperate!
Oh, I still plan to ride in a drizzle. Just not rain.
