Newcastle/Indian Hill Park n Ride (map)
Distance: ~20 miles / ~30 with Ridge Road
Terrain: Hilly, country roads
Skill: Advanced Beginner + or my pace
Pace: 14 on flats, slower on hills

Let's do a short and sweet hilly ride. This is another route designed by Diane and is great if you want to get a hill workout but don't have a lot of time. I'm on a time crunch on Sunday, thus, the reason for my limiting the number of RSVPs.
This is an advanced beginner pace event. If you plan to race through the route, this is not the ride for you.
We'll go through Powerhouse, Rock Springs and good old English Colony.
We'll meet at the Park and Ride across the street from the Flyers Gas Station / right beside 80 freeway. Please be ready to ride at 8 am.
There are some hills on this ride - 8 - 13%. Ridge Road is an out and back route and is optional for some. Don't say I didn't warn you.... some folks are always surprised when we tell them that now we have to go back up Ridge

You should be comfortable riding 30+ miles and have climbed Beals about half a dozen times to be able to do this ride.
Break time is at the end of the route at the Newcastle Deli.
