Terrain: 2200 ft climb total / moderate hills / rural roads
Distance: 37
Speed: 14 mph flats / slower on hills
Rider Level: Very Strong Beginner
Sweep: NO. We'll Regroup at pre-determined locations.
Departure time: 9:15 SHARP

It's been since Sept since I went on this route. Time to do it again.

This is a moderate paced ride. This ride is geared towards new riders who are working on their climbing skills. At the very least, you should be comfortable with the distance. Some of the hills are quite steep. Moderate hills on this ride are the Sierra College stretches which ranges from 5 - 8%. English Colony is very steep at some places - 13%? Oak Hill is a bit steep (10%?) but thankfully, it's very short.

We will meet at Vic's Market near the corner of Oak Ave Pkwy and Santa Juanita. From there, we'll travel through Granite Bay and Loomis with a break for at the Wild Chicken Coffee shop. This ride goes through some rural roads of Loomis. Very nice and scenic. Then on the way home, we will ride through Barton the up Oak Hill then through Beals Point. The ride is 37 miles and has about ~2200 feet in climbing.

Don't forget your helmet, snacks and money for the coffee shop.

FYI: The Org team is exempt from the permissions issue, unfortunately it hits everyone else. This is Meetup wide due to a new security patch that was implemented on Tuesday night. At the time of this post it is still not working.

Thanks Perry, There seems to be an issue with rights in the files section. Several people are reporting issues. I'm working with Meetup to resolve the issue.

Hope your shoulder is better Susan. Oh and the ride flat free unlike the last one. Otis said you guys had a lot of flats. Maybe you guys got them out of the way on the last ride.

Once again we laughed at the weatherman, and triumphed! Thanks Lourdes for putting together yet another great ride.
    •  Sorry I really didn't ride to much with the group, it was a work day for me and I always like to get back to my car by a certain time. The route was great , thanks.
